Since I can remember, I’ve been taking mental photographs of moments in time and envisioning how to translate them to canvas. For a long time, these visions were fairly straight-forward and realistic, but as time and life passed, my interpretations of these moments became more about a feeling than a visual replication. These feelings are now what inspire my work. Through intentional brush strokes, color and paint drips, I aim to for every piece to evoke a clear emotion for each individual. Dependent on who you are and where you’ve been, that emotion will most likely differ from mine, but that is where the beauty lies.
